Fire Sputnik

A full year ago, I picked up some absolutely exquisite faceted hematoid quartz pieces at the Tucson Gem Show. The swirl of fiery colors within each stone was so stunningly unique, it took me a year to find a design worthy of housing such stone! Various shades of fire opal, from creamsicle to deep orange, in different faceted shapes echo the billowing orange and yellow smoke stack included in the center quartz.
